01 Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to BatteryMIS, an EV battery engineering platform owned and operated by Pranava Technologies ("BatteryMIS", "Company", "we", "us", or "our"), registered under the laws of India and based in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu 631605 (MSME · Udyam No: UDYAM-TN-08-0139056 · GST Compliant).

By accessing or using the BatteryMIS website at batterymis.com, the BatteryMIS web application, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you ("User", "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and any additional policies referenced herein, including the Privacy Policy.

If you are accessing the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

The Platform is not available to persons under the age of 13 years. By using the platform, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under Indian law.

02 About BatteryMIS

BatteryMIS is built for one purpose: to help people learn EV battery engineering, get industry-ready, and find the right job - at a price that makes sense. It is not a shortcut. It is structured knowledge, practical tools, and job-search support in one place.

The platform includes:

• L2E Curriculum - Structured beginner-to-advanced lessons, quizzes, and certificates for EV battery engineering, built around real industry requirements.
• Engineering Simulations - Browser-based interactive simulations for battery chemistry, BMS, thermal management, pack design, and testing.
• Battery Engineering Suite - Tools including calculators, 3D pack viewer, DVP planning, and testing modules. These are built to assist working engineers in internal analysis and day-to-day decision support. Outputs may contain errors and must be validated independently before any production or commercial use.
• Standards AI - A searchable index of 300+ global battery standards (ISO, IEC, AIS, SAE, UN) to help identify the right standard for your testing, design, or development work. This tool shows standard names and basic details only. Full technical content is not provided. For complete specifications, you must obtain the standard directly from the authorised publisher.
• Ask AI - A battery engineering AI assistant for learning support and general technical queries.
• Resume AI - An AI-assisted resume builder designed around battery engineering roles.
• Secure Job - A battery-specific job discovery tool for freshers and experienced candidates. It surfaces relevant openings and helps improve your visibility to HR partners based on your platform activity and plan. No job is guaranteed.
• Community - Curated WhatsApp groups, newsletters, and peer networking.

Features and availability may change. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.

03 Account Registration & Access

To access most features, you must create an account using a valid email address and password, or via Google OAuth. You agree that:

• All registration information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
• You will keep your credentials confidential and not share them with any third party.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You will notify us immediately at contact@batterymis.com of any unauthorised use or security breach.

BatteryMIS reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in violation of these Terms, or at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

Each account is for individual personal use. Sharing accounts across multiple users or organisations is not permitted unless explicitly agreed under a separate enterprise arrangement.

04 Plans, Payments & Subscriptions

BatteryMIS offers a free Starter Plan and paid subscription plans (Student, Expert, and upcoming HR/Company). Paid plans are billed monthly. All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to 18% GST as per applicable Indian tax law.

Payment: We accept UPI, RuPay, Visa, Mastercard, and Net Banking. A GST-compliant tax invoice from Pranava Technologies is issued for every paid transaction.

Upgrades: You may upgrade your plan at any time from within the platform. The new plan takes effect immediately and you will be charged the new rate from the next billing cycle.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused periods unless required by applicable law.

Refunds: Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy available at /refund.html. Technical failures attributable to us will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price change will be communicated at least 30 days in advance to your registered email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

05 Platform Content & Intellectual Property

All content on the BatteryMIS platform - including but not limited to lesson materials, simulation logic, engineering tools, standards database, UI design, graphics, code, and branding - is the exclusive intellectual property of Pranava Technologies or its licensors, protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and IP law.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform solely for your personal, non-commercial learning and career development purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or sublicense any platform content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from any platform software.
• Use platform content to build a competing product or service.
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically harvest data from the platform without written permission.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

Certificates issued by BatteryMIS (L2E-BEG, L2E-INT, L2E-ADV) are issued to individual users upon completion of the relevant curriculum and are non-transferable. Misrepresentation of certificates is a violation of these Terms and may be reported to relevant authorities.

06 User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Posting or transmitting harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or threatening content.
• Impersonating any person, organisation, or BatteryMIS employee.
• Uploading malware, viruses, or any code designed to damage or disrupt the platform.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or other users' accounts.
• Using automated tools to send unsolicited messages (spam) to other users.
• Engaging in or facilitating any activity that is illegal under Indian law.
• Sharing login credentials or allowing third parties to access your account.
• Using the platform to recruit users away from BatteryMIS or to promote competing services.

BatteryMIS reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations, including removal of content, suspension, or permanent termination of accounts, and referral to law enforcement where applicable.

07 Platform Scope, Limitations & AI Features

What this platform is for

BatteryMIS is a skilling, career preparation, and job-search assistance platform. It is designed to help users build industry knowledge of EV battery engineering at an affordable price. It is not a substitute for formal education, professional engineering consultation, or regulatory compliance guidance.

Engineering tools and business decisions

The Battery Engineering Suite and related calculation, simulation, and analysis tools on this platform are designed to assist working engineers with internal analysis and to support decision-making. These tools may help you think through a problem, cross-check a figure, or explore a design option. However, they may contain errors, use simplified models, or produce outputs that do not reflect your specific product, regulatory context, or operating conditions. BatteryMIS is not responsible for any business decision, product outcome, or loss arising from use of these tools. All outputs must be independently validated before use in any commercial or production context.

Standards AI - what it does and does not provide

The Standards AI feature provides a searchable index of 300+ global battery standards across bodies including ISO, IEC, AIS, SAE, and UN ECE. It is designed to help you identify which standard is relevant to your testing, design, or development work - not to replace the standard itself. The platform shows standard names, scope descriptions, and basic classification information only. Full technical content, test procedures, and normative requirements are not included. To access the complete text of any standard, you must purchase or obtain it directly from the authorised issuing body. BatteryMIS does not sell or distribute standards documents and makes no claim of completeness or accuracy in its standard listings.

Secure Job - job assistance, not job guarantee

The Secure Job feature helps freshers and experienced battery engineers discover relevant job openings and improve their visibility to HR and hiring partners. We aggregate job listings from company sources, assist with resume preparation, and connect active users with HR visibility opportunities based on business needs and plan tier. BatteryMIS does not guarantee placement, interview calls, job offers, or any employment outcome. HR visibility is provided on a best-effort basis and depends on hiring activity at the time.

AI features - Ask AI, Resume AI, Standards AI search

AI-powered features on the platform are provided for learning support and informational purposes. You agree that:

• AI responses are not professional engineering, legal, or career advice.
• Outputs may contain errors or outdated information. You are responsible for verifying anything before using it professionally.
• Queries you submit may be used to improve platform quality, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Daily usage limits apply per plan: Ask AI is limited to 1 query/day on Starter, 5/day on Student, and 7/day on Expert. Limits reset at midnight IST.

08 Privacy & Data

Your use of the platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using BatteryMIS, you consent to the data practices described in that policy.

We collect data you provide during registration (name, email, phone, role, location), usage data (lessons completed, simulations run, features accessed), and payment information (processed securely via our payment partners - we do not store card details).

We use session cookies solely to maintain your login state and provide a smooth experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.

If you provide your contact details, we reserve the right to reach you via call, SMS, email, or WhatsApp regarding platform updates, offers, or service communications - even if your number is on the DND registry - as permitted under applicable Indian regulations for transactional and service communications.

09 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The BatteryMIS platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The platform will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free.
• Standards listings, simulation outputs, or AI responses are complete, accurate, or current.
• Engineering tool outputs are suitable for use in any specific product, design, or compliance context.
• The platform will result in a job, interview, or any specific career outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Pranava Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform - including loss of data, loss of profits, engineering errors, business losses, or career outcomes.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to BatteryMIS in the three (3) months before the claim arose, or Rs. 500 (whichever is greater).

10 Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at contact@batterymis.com. Upon deletion, your access to the platform will cease and your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

BatteryMIS may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms.
• We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority.
• Your account is involved in fraudulent or abusive activity.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law - will survive any termination or cancellation.

11 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu 631605 shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting our Grievance Officer (see Section 13) and allowing 30 days for resolution.

Any claim arising out of these Terms must be brought within one (1) year of the date the cause of action arose, or be forever barred.

12 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email to your registered address and/or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform and may delete your account.

For any questions, concerns, or grievances related to these Terms or the platform, please reach out to us. Our Grievance Officer will endeavour to address your concern within 30 days.
